Truth.

The idea of "truth" comes from when I started reflecting on a recent hardship I faced with someone. I wanted to write a screenplay based on a dilemma that I was facing in life. I did not want to write a short story since I am more of a visual person, so I decided to do a TV script with characters (based on a true interaction I had). The medium of writing allows me to replace real names with more abstract names like 'Cortana' (Microsoft's AI assistant) to give it a futuristic artificial intelligence vibe. It also allows me to hold a conversation more effectively.
Now the background of the story. It is about the physical dilemma ("truth-telling.") or, shall I say, a spin with philosophical thinking. I thought of incorporating some psychological aspects (my background) as well. I decided to incorporate philosophical concepts like Utilitarianism and the psychological theory of Freud to represent my dilemma. As I think of the consequences of my actions, I want to envision all possible routes to take before deciding on a path. This short script is a snapshot of a turning point when I decided on telling the full truth, even if it meant facing a reality that was hard to accept.
And so it begins...
